Self Care Workshop

Peers will be assisted in doing self assessments, including the 6 areas of self care:

1. Physical – (eating habits, exercise, sleep, medical care, taking time off, stop smoking)

2. Psychological/Emotional – (self-reflection, loving yourself, journal, therapy, saying “no”, laughing)

3. Moral/Spiritual – (pray, meditate, reflection, finding spiritual connection, support causes you believe in)

4. Workplace/Professional – (take breaks, set limits, make quiet time to complete tasks, balance, organization)

5. Social/Life Balance – (ask for help, keep in touch with important people, fun activities/hobbies, support network)

6. Financial – (budgeting, pay bills on time, pay debt, save, emergency fund)
