Cultivating A Meditation Practice That Works For You
When we are actively recovering, “minding the mind” is essential to protecting us from ruminating on the hurts of the past and obsessing over the future. Failure to actively calm the “storms of the mind” can lead to chronic anxiety, depression, insomnia, weakened immunity and a general sense of unhappiness. This workshop begins by de-mystifying meditation and introduces participants to a variety of meditative strategies. Interactive and experiential in nature, participants will leave with a practice that feels best for them.
